On the Verge

I'm on the verge of a breakdown.  It was 80 degrees in Mn.  Now it's 27 degrees.  EDIT:  it's only 19 degrees!!! (sigh)

Watercolor Wonder paper - easy, peasey, springy background.  Love the look of watercolor but don't want to DIY? We can help! We've done the watercoloring for you, in muted colors and soft designs. Coordinates with the Watercolor Wonder suite.

I used Daffodil Delight and MARINA MIST for the elegant butterfly punch. I think it's a perfect match.  Use this punch with the elegant Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set for perfect coordination!



 Hexagon Hive Die:  Cut a fun geometrical card front with the Hexagon Hive Thinlits die. Or you can use a single cutout hexagon shape as an accent. Coordinates with the Kaleidoscope suite.

Cuts a single sheet of paper. Use with the Big Shot, Standard Cutting Pads, and the Multipurpose Platform or Magnetic Platform.

a few details: Very Vanilla Seam Binding.  Finish off a fabric project with our Deck the Halls Fabric perfectly with our 1/2" Seam Binding, available in coordinating colors of Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, and Always Artichoke. This soft and flowing seam binding ribbon will complement your handmade crafts beautifully any time of the year.

This post didn't start with the theme "Extra Credit". It just kind happened.

I got a bunch of FREE product from Stampin Up including their retired fabric (SWOOOON).  My three year old needed a new shirt for Valentine's Day!  And, I made a card to match with the FREE kit you can get during SAB.

The elephant template is from HERE. I used the
medium template for the shirt and just zigzag'ed stitched around the edges.  She Loves It.

The card kit included precut envelope liners from the Gold mirrored paper.  I traced on the back and hand cut the elephant.

I used one of the bitty button punches to add flair to the area where I attached the gold and blue fibers.  A three year old may not notice but I sure like the extra touch!

THE FINISHED CARD.  I punched a small heart, to match the shirt theme, to finish this awesome card!
