OLW - Neglected Color

This week's challenge at One Layer Wednesday was to use colors often neglected in your stash.  I 'think' I'm pretty good at using all my inks but I know I tend to gravitate towards warmer reds and browns and blues.

On this card i used Crumb Cake as my base, Wild Wasabi and Night of Navy ink.
KatTip:  This is a two-step stamping set from Stampin Up! but you don't HAVE to use both stamp images.  Although beautiful in the two-step mode, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked just the shadow stamp in this set Stippled Blossoms.

I added the Happy Birthday sentiment from Curly Cute and a little bling from rhinestones.

  1. Pretty card, nice stamp set. I like navy and green together. It looks good on this crumb cake card base. :)
