DOCUMENTING JULY

So those of you who have been following along with me on my documenting journey know that originally I was going back and documenting 2012; however, this month I decided to change things up a little. I had so many fun pictures from this July that I couldn’t help myself. I wanted to get these memories down and photos printed.
I pretty much used all my same tricks this month—lots of My Digital Studio, some stamping, a little paper, and a few embellishments.

On this page I added a little journaling card on the top right-hand corner that I tucked behind the picture. I cut this out using the Silhouette Digital Craft Cutter and My Digital Studio. I included a bunch of journaling about our morning routine. (I love adding detailed journaling—and it doesn’t take space away from getting all of my fun pictures in.)

I added three inserts to my album this month because I had so much to include.  Here is my insert with all of my convention pictures. Convention was so awesome this year!

We went down to Southern Utah so I had tons of fun pictures of our adventures to include in my album.

I truly think my favorite part about this is getting to include little bits of our everyday life. The Despicable Me image I just found online.
After I finished my month I was a little sad that I didn’t get my July 2012 done. . . . I couldn’t help myself—I had to do it! To save time I decided to do it all digitally. It’s kinda crazy how different our lives look from one year to the next.

No cutting, no mess, all digital . . . perfect for getting it done quick!!! I am so in love with that Nowhere to Go but Everywhere stamp! You can find it in the Go Everywhere Framables in My Digital Studio.

If you ever have a question on the names of any of the digital papers or stamps I use, just ask me in the comments and I will let you know.

I included just one small insert of some of my favorite baby bump pictures. My little sister took these photos of me and I am so happy that I have them. She is amazing!

I noticed a huge difference in the amount of pictures and journaling from this year and last year. I am more happy than ever that I have started focusing on documenting my little family. I am way more aware of getting photos and writing little notes down about our lives to include in our album. This is the stuff I don’t ever want to forget.

Have you been documenting your life in a fun way? Leave a link in the comments section so I can check it out!
