Fit for Queen...

I love using different textures and products to create fun and unique gifts. This crown would be the perfect gift for that special little girl.

Since I am always trying to find multiple uses for my dies, I started off using the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die to cut out the triangles from Canvas Creations sheets, stamped them with Jet Black StazOn ink, and added some spray starch to help them stay firm.

With all of the great new products and colors in this year’s annual catalog, I decided to pair up the beautiful Modern Medley Designer Series Paper with pops of Crisp Cantaloupe.

I cut the rosette using the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die. After running it through once, I moved the Designer Series Paper up a half of a mark, and created a thinner rosette—perfect for a crown!

I love adding paper flowers to three-dimensional items. I punch the flowers out of cardstock, spritz them with rubbing alcohol to make them firm and sturdy, then scrunch them up in a ball. Then I unfold them and form them into a cup shape. Once they are dry, I layer them, punch a hole in the center, and add a brad! These flowers are the perfect addition to that special project, and the new Pansy Punch is a great flower to work with to create that finishing touch!

Now go create a fun and unique gift of your own!
